To become a volunteer tutor, select the monthly workshop series that is best for you and attend all five sessions to complete your training. Pre-registration, a completed tutor profile, and $30 book/registration fee must be received at least one day before the first session.

The Literacy Council of Prince George’s County seeks dynamic, passionate and technologically-advanced Computer Lab Coordinator with Adult Ed Instructor qualifications who can manage a Pre-GED/GED/ESOL Computer Lab.

Also, responsible for delivering engaging, targeted workshops to inspire student learning. Computer Lab hours: Mon-Thu; 20-35 hours per week; $20-$24/hour; Ideal start time: First week in September 2010.

Bachelors Degree and commitment to helping students become successful required. Minor Windows trouble-shooting skills and familiarity with Rosetta Stone, Ultimate Phonics and OMTI Rogers Software desired. Teaching experience preferred.
