If you resolved to support your community more in 2012, this is the perfect opportunity for you! To become a volunteer tutor, select the monthly workshop series that is best for you and attend all five sessions to complete your training. Pre-registration, a completed tutor profile, and $30 book/registration fee must be received at least one day before the first session.

The Literacy Council is located in the Hyattsville Branch of the Prince George’s County Library. Parking is available. We are located 4 blocks from the Prince George’s County Plaza Metro on the Green Line and we are served by the F and R bus lines nearby. Tutors may use the contact us form to report: Tutor name, Student name, date, total volunteer hours (includes preparation for tutoring sessions), total student contact hours, and total tutor miles driven. Please list all the Tutor/Student Meeting Dates and Times. Please tell us of student successes and achievements. Please give us your questions and ideas.
